Lead Product & UX Designer

I make complex
things work simply.

12 years building enterprise-scale digital products that don't just look good, they hold up. Design systems, accessibility, and the kind of craft that survives a 50-person team.

Designed to scale.
Built to last.

Most designers can make something look good. Fewer can make it scale. I sit at the intersection of both: a designer who thinks in systems, works fluently with engineers, and has spent 12 years building digital products that perform at enterprise scale across thousands of users, dozens of stakeholders, and product lines that cannot afford to fail.

I led design for the largest Coca-Cola bottler in the United States, built systems that brought order to organizations that had none, and shipped work that is still running in production today. What I bring to a team is not just craft. It is clarity, direction, and the discipline to see it through.

I founded and chaired the Coca-Cola Consolidated Design Council, driving cross-functional governance across 10+ business units. My work covers design systems, accessibility, front-end development, and brand governance at real organizational scale.

Lead UI/UX Designer
Coca-Cola Consolidated, Charlotte NC
The largest Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. Enterprise-scale platforms, design governance, component libraries, and eight years of shipping work at a scale where inconsistency is expensive.
2016 — 2018
Product Designer
Unifyr, Raleigh NC
B2B SaaS, marketing automation, and campaign delivery at speed. Built modular template systems that fundamentally changed how the team approached reuse and efficiency.
2014 — 2016
Web Designer
Web Full Circle, Charlotte NC
Agency work across industries. Introduced wireframing, iterative prototyping, and repeatable component systems that compounded into significantly better work and faster delivery.
2012 — 2014
Graphic & Web Designer
MadVapes, Mooresville NC
Where the foundation was built. Owned the brand, site, and e-commerce experience completely. The redesign of Madvapes.com was my first full product transformation.

Six disciplines.
One designer.

🧭
01
UX Strategy & Direction
Design without strategy is decoration. I work upstream with stakeholders, PMs, and engineers to align on what we are building and why, before a single pixel is placed. User research, IA, experience principles, and documented rationale that keeps teams from relitigating the same decisions six months later.
📱
02
Product Design
I own the full arc from zero to shipped. Discovery, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and the cross-functional coordination that gets it across the finish line. I do not hand off a beautiful design and disappear. I stay until the product shipped matches the product designed.
🧱
03
Design Systems
A design system built right is the closest thing to cloning your best designer. I build systems with adoption in mind: clear documentation, practical governance, and the buy-in process that gets engineers and designers actually using them across multiple product lines and sub-brands.
🎨
04
Brand & Visual Design
A brand that cannot be applied consistently is not a brand yet. I design identities built for real-world use: sharp enough to make an impression, structured enough to survive a 50-person team. The deliverable is not just a style guide. It is a framework people can actually work from.
💻
05
Front-End Development
I speak both languages. I write semantic, accessible HTML and CSS, prototype in the browser when a static mockup is not enough, and have specific, technical conversations with engineers when something gets built differently than it was designed. That is the difference between a designer who hands off and a designer who ships.
06
Accessibility
Accessibility is not a compliance exercise. I integrate WCAG 2.1 AA requirements into the design process from day one: in component libraries, design systems, and review checklists. When accessibility is designed in, it stays in. Accessible products are also better products.

defines the practice.

Authorization Tracker 2.0

Lead UI/UX Designer  |  Coca-Cola Consolidated  |  CONA Platform

Managing retail product authorization across a nationwide bottling network at enterprise scale. The 2.0 rebuild introduced three distinct workflow tracks, a Customer Collection system for custom store groupings, rebuilt user management with delegated permissions, and a full fiscal-year authorization tracker view. Not just a visual refresh, a functional expansion of the platform's core capabilities.

A fully deployed enterprise iPad application for field representatives managing the complete commercial planning and contract lifecycle. Coca-Cola Consolidated Design Council

Founder & Chair  |  Enterprise Design Governance Program

I identified the gap and built the solution without being asked. Founded and chaired a cross-functional governance body with representation from every major business unit across communications, IT, marketing, eCommerce, HR, Engineering, and more. Authored the Design Council Charter, established KPI frameworks, and created the institutional foundation for design governance that had never existed before at Coca-Cola Consolidated.

Coca-Cola Consolidated Digital Brand Guide

Lead UI/UX Designer  |  Internal Brand Governance Document

No formal brand guide existed for the largest Coca-Cola bottler in the US. I identified the problem and drove the solution. Starting with UX research into The Coca-Cola Company's official brand standards, I synthesized a Consolidated-specific guide covering the complete color palette, typography, logo usage, brand voice, and a full set of Do's and Don'ts that made guidance portable for every team building every product.

If the work is interesting, let's talk.

I am looking for the kind of role where the problems are genuinely hard, the team cares about getting it right, and design has a real seat at the table. If that sounds like where you are, reach out.
